Kwan Yin is the Buddhist Mother of Mercy and Compassion.  This necklace is a One of a Kind made with a carved Obsidian Kwan Yin pendant set in Tibetan Silver on a 28" strand of  8mm  Tiger Iron.  Tiger Iron is a unique gemstone found only in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Tiger-Iron is a combination of Red Jasper, Hematite, and Golden Brown Tiger Eye. It's a beautiful stone that exhibits red, golden, and black stripes.  

Kwan Yin is known as "she who hears the cries of the world" and she is always ready to step in to help.   As one of Buddhism's most beloved bodhisattvas, she is known as the protector of women, children, sailors, fishermen and any in trouble.  Her foot is always poised to step out into the world to assist those in need.   

Known as the "Supreme Nurturer", Red Creek Jasper provides support in times of stress or worry. It is an excellent stone for quick thinking, promoting organizational abilities, and stimulating imagination for transforming ideas into action. Red Creek Jasper is believed by many to bring balance and relaxation, and like all Jasper, is a stone of protection and grounding.
