The Notre Dame de Lourdes Trinity Necklace features three strands of 5mm Freshwater Pearls hand wrapped in Sterling Silver chain. It is a medal that was given to Pilgrims to the Holy Waters and apparition site of Lourdes, France. The M in the center honors the Blessed Mother and the 12 Roses surrounding it are symbolic of the Apostles and the 12 Tribes of Israel. Regardless of your faith background, Her presence is a protective and healing balm and a holy medal is a tangible reminder of Her love for all. The orginal dates to the early 1900's.
The other side of the medal depicts Our Lady as Reine du Rosaire or Queen of the Rosarie gifting the Mystic Saint Domenic with Her Blessing and instructions for the healing and meditative role of the Rosary. This medal is recast from the vintage original in Sterling Silver. It is French in origin. The Sterling Silver mark .925 is found on the edge of the medal, just below Her feet. Made in the USA, in our sweet studio sanctuary in Wellfleet, MA. Medals are recast for us by artisans based in New England.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Approx. 1.25" round on Sterling Silver wrapped chain. Medal origin is France and marked .925. Shortest strand is 16" and the longest is 18". This necklace can be worn as a triple strand or with one strand around the neck and extended.
