This battle ready devotional mantle honors Our Lady of Luján as the Bellatrix — the Latin word for female warrior. She is a tender and powerful Black Madonna whose gentle presence has long inspired courage, miracles, and unwavering faith. 
 Meticulously recast from a vintage 1906 original, the intricately carved 1.25" medal shows Our Lady of Luján nestled within a flaming Sacred Heart, surrounded by angels with two of them tenderly raising a crown of flowers above her. We hand-oxidize each piece to beautifully bring out every delicate detail of this beloved image. The chain  allows for the addition of new medals over time and for the existing medals to be removed and put on other chains. 

Crafted as a wearable prayer, this mantle unites the quiet strength and maternal grace of Our Lady of Luján with the deep devotion and protective love of the Peaceful Dove and Saint Michael.

Made in Argentina for a devoted patron in Brazil, tradition tells of the miraculous oxen that refused to move in 1630 until the Our Lady of Lujan statue was set down, revealing Her desire to remain among the people. Since then, pilgrims from around the world have traveled to Luján and received special graces, favors, and miracles.

Medals are cast bronze with Sterling Silver plating.  The Lady of Lujan medal is approximately 1.25",  Peaceful Dove  .75", and Saint Michael .75".   The silver bead chain beads are 4mm.
