Our Art Nouveau Madonna medal is made of solid .925 Sterling Silver and is modeled from the vintage original dating from approximately 1906. Featuring the Madonna of the Assumption, she hangs from Rose colored "Cathedral Beads" with bronze tips. The faceted Cathedral beads are shaped like the spires of the Great Cathedrals of Europe with bronze tips. Each bead is hand linked with prayerful intention to renews one’s optimism for life.
The image of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin on this medal was hand carved based upon the painting by Spanish artist Bartolome Esteban Murillo (1618 - 1682). The image is captivating and Her face on the medallion is exquisite and beautiful. Her halo is made of 12 Stars.
