Come spend the morning painting and playing as we venture within to meet the Divine Cosmic Mother. This one-day workshop held over two mornings, is designed especially for new painters and those who have not painted for a while. This is a beautiful opportunity to give yourself the gift of time to discover your inner artist. while simultaneously deepening your relationship with the Sacred Feminine. We will explore a brief history of the role of Great Mother, in all her many forms and faces, from Astarte to Isis to the Madonna and then set out to paint the Cosmic Mother that calls to you. If you respond to her call, she will reciprocate back in the form or a beautiful painting.
Over the course of two mornings, using the process of Intentional Creativity, you will tap into your intuition and bring forth imagery and a deeper understanding of your relationship with the Sacred Feminine. Intentional Creativity uses guided visualization, journaling and meditation to access your unique connection to the Divine Feminine. Using the insights gathered for your inner quest for wisdom, you will paint your encounter with her on the canvas. No painting experience is required. New painters and those who have not painted in many years are especially well suited for this workshop. Experienced artists are welcome as well. Bring a journal, plus an open heart and mind, and you will be astounded with the results.
Cost is $175.00 and includes materials. You will leave the two days with increased clarity and a deeper connection to your own personal Divine Source. You will also create a 20x30 inch painting memorializing your experience. The dates are August 21 & 28th, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Saint James the Fisherman Episcopal Church, Wellfleet, MA. If these dates don't work with your schedule, please reach out as Ginny works with private clients as well. Ginny Parker is a teacher and visionary artist who accesses her creative content through meditation, intuition and creative visualization.
Drawing on the sacred and mythological, she creates beautiful and vivid incarnations of mystical muses and beings. She is an entrepreneur and former corporate financial professional who works with clients as a Certified Gestalt Coach Spiritual Director and Intentional Creativity artist and workshop leader. She holds a degree from Lesley College in Human Services, Counseling Psychology among other accreditations.
As an artist and certified teacher of Intentional Creativity, she is passionate about helping others re-discover their creative gifts, while guiding them as they deepen their connection to their inner world. She lives in Wellfleet, MA where she leads retreats with individual clients and groups seeking to discover their authentic selves, while re-igniting their creative force through art and meditation. She is the founder and director of the Wellfleet Wisdom School and owns Anam Cara, a Retreat & Creativity Center, where she welcomes seekers from all over the world in search of respite and creative healing through art, nature and contemplation.
