The Belle Époque Lourdes Illumination Necklace with Sainte-CécileTwo necklaces in one, the early-1900s French Art Nouveau medals, hand-cast from original medals, are now joined in quiet, luminous harmony. At the center drifts the oval Sainte-Cécile medal: robes flowing like liquid gold, lyre cradled close, gaze lifted to a melody only she hears, encircled by the graceful inscription “Ste Cécile Vierge et Martyre.” Below, the cherished Lourdes Illumination medal—Our Lady appearing in the grotto, reverse bearing the Blessed Mother bestowing the rosary upon Saint Dominic—hangs from a gold-vermeil flaming Heart of Seven Sorrows connector, a tender flame of devotion. See below for all the way to wear it.

Three strands fall like evening prayer:
  • The shortest (16") is a ribbon of channel-set clear crystals, catching light with every breath.
  • The middle (20") carries the removable Sainte-Cécile medal, so you may wear her alone when silence calls for song.
  • The longest (22") is a rosary-inspired cascade of faceted black-diamond Bohemian cathedral beads, each tipped in matte 22 kt gold, ending in the Lourdes medal and Immaculate Heart.
Crafted in bronze with 22 kt matte gold plating and a gold-vermeil (22 kt gold over sterling) Sword of Seven Sorrows connector. Lead- and nickel-free. Wear the full trio for cathedral splendor or detach Sainte-Cécile for a lighter canticle.

Length: 16" / 20" / 22" layered (removable medal offers two distinct looks)

Gemstones: Clear Black-diamond Bohemian cathedral beads & channel-set crystals

Metal: Bronze with heavy 22 kt matte gold plate; gold-vermeil connector

For the soul whose prayers have melody and whose songs carry sanctuary.
One necklace, two patronesses, endless grace.
