Today is the Feast of Saint Therese, the beloved young French nun who died at the age of 24 in 1897. Saint Therese is one of my personal patron saints because my middle name is Terese. There are many accounts of this little saints life, including her personal autobiography, Story of a Soul. She was a person pure of heart who knew from a young age her calling. Many miracles, current and past are attributed to Saint Therese. Her help is available to those who call on her and remember her parting words:
“I will send down a shower of roses from the heavens;
I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth”
