One of the sacred gifts of my work is immersing myself in the timeless symbolism and divine stories woven into vintage medallions, particularly the profound imagery of the Immaculate Heart of Mary , which radiates divine love, purity, and devotion through its flames, pierced sword, and blooming roses.
Each medal is a unique masterpiece, its meaning often veiled in spiritual mystery. Most of our collection’s cherished pieces hail from a century ago, with some reaching back to the 18th century. Though the names of some artisans endure, others have faded into the mists of time, yet the holy reverence they infused into their creations continues to radiate, touching the soul.
The Madonna's Shield Necklace symbolizes the protection of the Blessed Mother. Featuring an Immaculate Heart connector and a delicate emerald drop, it was created in collaboration with a client who chose the emerald accent. The strand of channel-set crystals reflects Our Lady's brilliance and the light she shines to guide our path. The seven swords encircling the heart represent the joy of loving with an open heart and the pain that often accompanies it.
It is said, "That any human being needing comfort, vision, guidance or strength was heard by the Immaculate Heart ... and thus, Blessed Mother would immediately arrive with veils flying ... to place us under her mantle for protection, to give us that one thing the world longs for so: the warmth of the mother’s compassionate touch. -
