Celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception & Notre Dame Reopens

Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, which celebrates the conception of the Virgin Mary. The origin of this Feast Day is attributed to her apparition to Saint Bernadette Soubirous, at Lourdes, France. When St. Bernadette asked the Virgin Mary on March 25, 1858, to identify herself, Mary replied, “I am the Immaculate Conception.”
Today is also the day Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris
officially reopens after the fire in 2019.

VIRGO S PEC ORIG CONCEP" - loosely translating from Latin to Blessed Virgin Conceived without Sin" - The Immaculate Conception. The original medal dates back to the 1800s.

Today also marks the official reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. The five year restoration is an amazing feat of love and perseverance. It's also incredibly timely, given the state of world affairs and the fact that yesterday World Leaders gathered to honor Our Lady's Cathedral and have unofficial Peace Talks beforehand. For sure, Our Lady had a hand in all of this and is very much alive and active in our lives & the world.
