Return Policy for all Items Excluding Saddles and Horse Gear
All returns must have Return Authorization (RA) numbers, which can be requested from Whispering Cowgirl at (508)214-0158 or by using our contact form. We do not receive mail at our street address, so please send any packages shipping by the USPS to our secure lockbox at:
At Whispering Cowgirl we stand behind the artisans we represent and the quality of their work. Each artisan has been fully vetted, but on occasion we realize items will need to be returned or replaced. We will accept items for return providing they are received back within 14 days from the date the item is delivered to the customer for ONLINE SALES only. After 14 days a store credit only will be issued for a period up to 30 days. All credits processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned item. Items purchased on sale are eligible for store credit only. If your item is a gift we will gladly and graciously extend the return period up to 30 days and we will also work with your and the recipient to get exactly what they like. Sale items are available for exchange or store credit only. Credits will be processed within 14 days of return receipt.
Products must be returned in the condition in which they were received by the client and in the original packaging with the original tags attached. The individual initiating the return is responsible for the shipping costs to return an item. All applicable shipping costs incurred by Whispering Cowgirl will be deducted from the refund amount of all items returned and a 50% restocking fee will be incurred for items that have been held on reserve or on lay away. Due to the unique, handmade nature of our items, custom and special orders are non-refundable.
Saddle and Horse Gear Return Policy
Saddles are subject to a 7 day trial period and are accepted as a return if you find they do not fit your horse for any reason. In order to be accepted for a return, saddles must be received back in the condition in which they were delivered. Saddles with scratches on the leather or stirrups, signs of use on the underside will not be accepted. We ask that you place a towel or like cloth between your horse and your saddle pad to prevent soiling of the saddle fleece. Stirrups should be wrapped in plastic to avoid soiling of the stirrups. We tend to stock a fancier saddle with a bit more tooling from McCall Saddle than you will find at most other saddle shops, as such we just ask that you take little extra care in trying yours out. But by all means test it out and make sure it fits you and your horse!
Our McCall Saddles will tend fit to a variety of horses, please call us before you order so we can help you select the most appropriate size for both of you. Our goal is to assist you in refining your partnership with your horse - a fine and properly fit saddle will help you do that! Please call us at 508-214-0158 to discuss your saddle needs. If any product received from the Whispering Cowgirl is found to be defective for any reason we will offer full replacement or repair by the artisan if the piece is found to be defective within 30 days. If it’s past that time just call us and we will do the best we can to correct any problems on a case by case basis. Saddle returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Credit Card refunds and all other returns will be processed within 15 business days of product return, subject to inspection of the returned product - some exceptions can apply.
