St Therese of Lisieux was an ordinary girl with an extraordinary soul. She developed a deep and abiding faith in Jesus and trust in his will for her. She became a Carmelite nun at age 15. Therese defined her path to God and holiness as The Little Way, which consisted of child-like love and trust in God. She wrote the spiritual classic, "The Story of a Soul" to tell about her life and help others to understand her simple way of serving God. She died in 1897 at age 24 from tuberculosis.
This medal features St Therese with a beautiful ribbon border. She is holding a crucifix with a spray of roses. The reverse has the Latin motto "I will let fall a shower of roses". It refers to her statement "After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth". It is made of sterling silver and will come with a matching holy card in an organza gift bag, so it's ready to give as a present to someone else or yourself.
