Strong, one-piece construction, washable, no hardware to break. This halter is made from 5/16" polypropylene 16 strand diamond braided rope that is of medium-firm lay. It holds shape for easy use and is preferred by trainers, clinicians, outfitters, trail-riders, working cowboys, and English and Western riders. This halter is easily adjustable, rot and mildew resistant, machine washable, and has a five year guarantee.

Leslie Desmond, International Horsemanship Coach, Judy Rose of Silver Tip Halters and Ginny Parker of The Whispering Cowgirl worked to develop this halter that ties on your horses right side, also known as the Off Side. Our Off Side Tie halter, specifically designed to tie on a horse's right side, was developed to provide a simple and effective tool to increase a horse's comfort with being handled on both the left and right sides. Traditionally we halter, bridle and saddle on the left side, which causes a horse to be unaccustomed to handling on their right side. Your efforts to develop a reliable riding horse will be rewarded when you begin to expose your horse to handling on the right and left sides.

The right side tie halter is that same fine halter #95 made by Silver Tip Halter, but it has been gear tested and is used by the International Horsemanship Coach, Leslie Desmond. We also had them made without the metal tip. The end is bound with cord and finished. Leslie has endorsed this product because she believes in the benefits to horse's and their owners from the dedicated and proper use of working with horses on their less used and underdeveloped right side.
