Whispering Cowgirl was founded in 2009 by Ginny Parker, a seasoned business woman who left corporate life to combine her love of horses, artisan jewelry, boho-chic clothes and hand-crafted cowboy boots. Ginny's carefully curated boutique reflects her passion for bringing joy and beauty to the world -  a task that is accomplished through her ongoing relationships with established and emerging textile, jewelry and cowboy artisans. In bringing this artful collection together, Whispering Cowgirl celebrates the free spirit that dwells within each one of us, whether we connect with that spirit riding a horse, a wave or the subway. This extremely original boutique encourages individual expression through the design and creation of a look and feel that is timeless, eclectic and uniquely one's own. 

In response to the need for expansion, Whispering Cowgirl Artisan Boutique moved to 331 Commercial St, Provincetown, Massachusetts at the tip of of Cape Cod in May 2012. With its collection of rosary-inspired jewelry, hand-tooled cowgirl boots, belts  and breezy, vintage-print dresses, Whispering Cowgirl is a huge hit with sophisticated visitors,  local surfer girls and those who seek to celebrate life with tasteful adornments.  In addition to a hip boutique, a robust and dedicated client following has emerged from coast to coast via Whispering Cowgirl’s online and catalog divisions.   

Ginny lives in Wellfleet, MA with her long time beau, two horses, three dogs and two cats.  An advocate of animal rights, she actively supports horse and dog rescue efforts through New England Equine Rescue North and American Lab Rescue.
